This page explains how Feed Craft Vault uses cookies and similar storage on feedcraftvault.pro. We keep categories narrow: essential banner memory and optional functional embeds for Google Maps.

Essential storage records your cookie banner decision so we do not ask on every page. It uses a first-party cookie named fcv_consent_v14 and localStorage key fcv_cookie_consent_v1, retained up to one hundred eighty days unless you clear browser data.

Functional category covers Google Maps iframes. Maps are blocked until you accept functional cookies or click "Load map" on a placeholder. If you reject functional cookies, placeholders remain and no request is sent to Google servers.

Analytics category: we do not load analytics scripts today. The banner still shows an Analytics toggle for transparency and future compatibility. It defaults off and has no effect while no analytics tags are present.

Approach (a): rejecting optional cookies hides map embeds behind placeholders company-wide on this site. Accepting functional cookies loads map iframes and sets src from a data attribute after consent.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using the site because the banner would reappear infinitely. Rejecting all sets functional and analytics flags false but still stores that rejection — which is essential.

Third-party cookies: Google may set cookies if you load maps under their policies. We do not control Google's cookie names or durations. Consult Google's privacy documentation for details.

Browser controls: you may delete cookies via browser settings. Deleting consent cookies restores the banner on your next visit.

Do Not Track: we do not change behaviour based on DNT signals because industry practice is inconsistent. Use banner controls instead.

Updates: if we add analytics or change cookie names, we will update this page and re-prompt where required by law.
